K&S Corporation results for the half year ended 31st December 2011
The Directors of K&S Corporation Limited today announced a net profit after tax of $7.4
million, which is 9.2% lower than the previous corresponding half‐year.
Operating revenue for the first half was $271.8 million, which is 2.7% higher than the
prior corresponding half year.
Operating profit before interest, tax and depreciation was $26.7 million or 7.9% lower
than the prior corresponding half‐year.

K&S Corporation ~ Chief Executive Officer succession process
K&S Corporation Limited ("K&S") wishes to advise that after 39 years at K&S, the last 14 of which he has occupied the position of Chief Executive Officer, Mr Legh Winser will be retiring on a date to be determined in 2012. The Board and Mr Winser confirm that they will be commencing an orderly succession to a new Chief Executive Officer, with it being anticipated that this transition will be completed in the first half of this calendar year.

K&S Corporation results for the full year ended 30 June 2011
The Directors of K&S Corporation Limited today announced a net profit after tax
of $14.8 million, a decrease of 20.9% on the previous year.
This has been a difficult year with weaker trading conditions on the east coast of
Australia compounded by the impact of floods, Cyclone Yasi, the closure of the
Wesley Vale and Burnie paper mills in Tasmania and the lane mix changes in
OneSteel's distribution patterns.

K&S Corporation Limited – Trading Update
Weaker trading conditions within K&S Corporation Limited's ("K&S") east coast operations continued into the March 2011 quarter. This was driven by the ongoing effects of the softening of the economy witnessed in the first half of the 2011 financial year. The position in the March 2011 quarter was exacerbated by floods in Queensland, New South Wales, Victoria and the Nullabor, as well as by Cyclone Yasi – all of which impacted on operations and underlying volumes.

23/11/2010 ~ K&S Announces Non-Renounceable Entitlement Offer
K&S Corporation Limited (“K&S”) is pleased to announce that it will conduct an underwritten non-renounceable entitlement offer to raise up to $26.4 million (“Entitlement Offer”).
The Offer is underwritten fully by Taylor Collison Limited (“Underwriter”) stockbrokers with the strong support of K&S’ existing institutional shareholders and new institutional investors. Any new shares
not taken up by shareholders will be acquired by the Underwriter subject to the terms of the
Underwriting Agreement.
Use of Proceeds
&S continues to capitalise on opportunities to grow market share in key markets and is actively targeting further opportunities in the Western Australian oil and gas and resources sectors.
K&S Managing Director, Mr Legh Winser, said “This capital raising will enhance K&S’s balance sheet flexibility to ensure the Company is well positioned to continue to pursue growth in new and existing markets. The Board is pleased to offer our shareholders an opportunity to participate in this important capital management initiative.”

K&S expects performance for the first half of this financial year to be slightly lower than the previous corresponding period. However, K&S earnings are expected to recover in the second half of this
financial year.
K&S' recent Western Australian acquisitions are performing in line with expectations and are expected to be a new source of growth for K&S into the future.
